Species groups in the Outer World
According to the Galactic Confederation classification code, there are six groups of sentient species:
Humanoids
Humanoids are the most numerous inhabitants of the Outer World. They are represented by a variety of races, from short and broad-shouldered dwarves to huge Jotuns. Each race has its own values, beliefs, worldview, and interests. But despite all the differences and disagreements, they share the following characteristics:
- Bipedals
- Most often have four limbs
- Relatively similar body structure
Beastmorphs
Beastmorphs are a group of sentient beings representing the widest variety of races of anthropomorphic upright intelligent animals. Representatives of the group live everywhere: in the air, on land, under water and under land.
One of the most widespread groups in the universe. The distinguishing features are:
- Self-awareness
- Walking upright
- Expressive similarity with certain animals
- The presence of additional/modified organs and limbs, compared to humanoid races
Dendromorphs
Dendromorphs are a group of sentient plant and fungal races.
Features: some members of the race are tied to a specific location, some can move freely in space.
Despite their sometimes friendly appearance, they are belligerent. They capture the technologies of other races for their own development and movement between the stars. The majority are carnivorous.
The Chrystamorphs
Spiritomorphs
Spiritomorphs are sentient clusters of energy that inhabit planets saturated with the energy of stars. Each representative of this race group may be strikingly different from others, but what unites them is:
- The presence of an essential core that is an anchor for everything else
- Unstable physical embodiment
- "Glow" in a wide range of radiation spectrum
- Constant thirst for nourishment
